NHPW Welcomes Our Newest Association!

New Hampshire Pop Warner would like to officially welcome the Sunapee Spartans, who were granted membership into the league after a recent vote of the Association Presidents.  The Spartans will begin play in the 2010 season and become the 13th member of our rapidly-growing organization.

The program will be drawing children ages 5-15 from the Claremont, Croydon, Goshen, Grantham, Lempster, Newbury, New London, Newport, Springfield, Sunapee, Sutton and Wilmot communities.

The Spartans are led by President Katie O'Brien and she can be reached at (603)682-5486 or via email at katie780@comcast.net.  She is in search of additional board members or other volunteers that are interested in coaching football or cheerleading.

Once again, we welcome the Sunapee Spartans to New Hampshire Pop Warner!

Did You Know?

Pop Warner Little Scholars continues to be one of the safest youth sports organizations in the entire country.  Our football and cheerleading program is committed to the safety of our participants regardless of age level.

New Hampshire Pop Warner mandates a safety clinic for all of its football and cheerleading coaches on an annual basis.  In addition, all football players are placed in divisions that ensure that they will placed with others that fall within the same age and weight range.

Pop Warner's unique age/weight matrix is time-tested and is only adjusted at the National level upon review of the injury data from prior seasons.  In order for a weight increase to be approved, it must pass a vote through the eight U.S. Pop Warner regions.

All Pop Warner teams in the country play by the same rules and are governed by the National Pop Warner Rulebook.

How Do I Become a Member of NHPW?

New Hampshire Pop Warner is a proud member of Pop Warner Little Scholars, which is headquartered in Langhorne, PA.

New Hampshire Pop Warner on WMUR

In case you missed it, the New Hampshire Pop Warner program was recently featured on WMUR and the mandatory clinic that our coaches attended on concussions and head injuries was highlighted.

The State Board would like to once again thank Christopher Nowinski and Dr. Robert Cantu from the Sports Legacy Institute as well as Hooksett Hurricanes President Thom DeVos for making this clinic possible for our league.
